Devin Roby led the Islanders with a career high 22 points and Tyrus Richardson added 20 and the Islanders kept their region record unblemished at 3-0 while improving to 6-3 overall. St Johns ran out to a 21-4 lead in the first quarter and it was all but over at the half when the Islanders led 47-15. Devin Roby hit 7 out of 10 three pointers and Tyrus knocked down 5 out 14 threes. Tyrus and Levon Traeye both grabbed 7 rebounds a piece to lead the Islanders on the glass. Tyrus led with 5 assists and Jordan Brown added 4 assists. Jordan Brown and Devin Roby each had 4 steals to lead the team.
Next up for the Islanders is a trip to Beaufort Tuesday night to face Bridges Prep in a region game. This will be the last game of 2018 as the Islanders are not scheduled for any holiday tournaments and will return on January 8th.
